After the 2004 Tsunami, a British sponsor who lost his wife in the disaster, donated 12 Rai of land (19,000 sqm) to ACF so we could expand our work amongst the disadvantaged and at-risk children in the community.
Plans have been approved for building an education, sport, and life skills center. The first phase included Cornerstone Early Childhood Education Center, which was built in 2017, and a kitchen and dining room facility, as well as a boarding house were also completed in 2018.
During the last phase of the project a Youth and Community Center will be built from where children from the local community will have access to multiple recreation and life skill development opportunities.
Block B is a double-story building that includes 4 learning centers (classrooms), an administration room as well as a multi-purpose room for art and reading books.
Any donation will be gratefully received and will help complete the primary school building project. This will allow us to extend our education program to include primary education for the children currently attending our Early Childhood Education Center, who will be the first to benefit from the new school.
