CORNERSTONE EDUCATION CENTER

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (PRE-SCHOOL)

Since 2002, Asia Center Foundation (ACF) has placed strong emphasis on early childhood education, recognising the vital role it plays in a child’s development and future opportunities.

The Cornerstone Education Center (CEC) provides free care and education for children aged 4–6 from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds. Many come from single-parent or low-income households, migrant families, families affected by drug or alcohol-related challenges, or are being raised by grandparents.

Through a nurturing, play-based preschool program, children are given a strong foundation for future learning in a safe and supportive environment. They are encouraged to explore, discover and develop new skills through a wide range of age-appropriate learning experiences.

Beyond education, Cornerstone also supports the children’s everyday wellbeing by providing nutritious meals, basic medical care, transportation to and from the center, and a caring environment where every child is valued and supported.

To help meet the educational and daily care costs of children attending the center, ACF established the Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Education Fund.

In May 2026, the Cornerstone Education Center was officially registered as an educational institution with the Thai Education Department — an important milestone in the continued development of the program.

ACF’S PLAY-BASED APPROACH

At Cornerstone, learning is designed to be engaging, enjoyable and meaningful.

ACF’s play-based approach encourages children to learn through exploration, creativity, interaction and discovery. This helps develop important social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills while building confidence, curiosity and independence.

Most importantly, children look forward to coming to school, enjoy what they are learning and begin to develop something that can stay with them for life: a genuine love of learning.
