SHELTER AND ACCOMMODATION

A shelter is managed by a Thai house parent couple who provides a safe family environment, emotional support, guidance and structure which is lacking in the children’s own family situation. Pre-, primary and high school children live together in the shelter.

The shelter and accommodation project was started in 2007. All expenses including meals, clothing, school expenses, medical treatment, transportation, recreational activities and salaries of the house parents are provided by Asia Center Foundation with the help of donations.

ACF’s mission is to empower children in at-risk and poverty situations through education, by providing them with the tools and opportunities needed to transform their futures. As an independent, grassroots Christian charity, ACF is locally registered as a Non Government Organization (NGO) dedicated to making a profound difference in the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk Thai and Burmese children.
